My name is Cesar Macedo and I am your Spring 2021 President! My Officer Board and I are so excited to meet you!

For nearly 40 years, we have taken pride in transforming today’s leaders into tomorrow’s executives. As President of HBSA, I invite you and encourage you to take full advantage of the opportunities given here at HBSA, a campus-recognized organization. This semester is all about moving forward, together. One thing the pandemic has taught us is the need to join forces to ensure a better tomorrow for those to come in later years. This semester, it is the board’s mission to ensure that you gain the skills necessary to make an impact on your community! Whether it be through community involvement, professional and personal development, or simply making new friends, I want to see you succeed and reach your highest potential.

In the past year, we have increased our job placement, grown our member base to over 300 students, some which have been recruited by top Fortune 500 companies, and we have strengthened our relationship with the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). We want the same for you! I am a firm believer that iron sharpens iron, so we must all work together to not let this pandemic stop what is rightfully ours… success!

HBSA prides itself on its 5 pillars: Familia, Leadership, Academics, Professionalism, and Service. We have a large variety of events that you can attend. With this being said, we are certain that there is a place here for you and would love to see you join our Familia!
