Alumni Mentorship Program

Within HBSA, our members have the opportunity to join our Alumni Mentorship Program. This program pairs up a member with an alumnus of HBSA allowing our members to have someone else to help them grow both professionally and personally. Obtaining an alumnus as a mentor allows the member to gain insight on the corporate environment, as most alumnus work in prestigious corporations, are leaders and managers in their respective organization, or have ventured off to establish their own company. Within this program our members will be able to have someone who was once in their shoes giving them advice and counseling them within their school career in order for them to be the best they can be. This program is such an amazing opportunity and it is something that you wouldn’t want to miss out on.

Alumni Events

Some of our events consist of our Alumni Coffee night where alumni come out and give some insight to our members about distinctive topics of the professional world. Painting with a twist is an event that allows our members and alumni to come out and have some fun, relax, and get to know one another in a more personal level in order to make those long lasting relationships. We also will be having our community event with Trees for Houston with our Alumni, this event will allow us to give back while making those connections with our alumni. Alongside these events, we will also have our Alumni Potluck, Members V. Alumni soccer game and Alumni Panel. These events are meant to help our members grow and become the absolute best they can be both professionally and personally while making long lasting relationships with Alumni and our HBSA familia.

Message to the rest of the alumni?
After being away (out of state) the last five years, it was an amazing nostalgic experience to walk through the Bauer halls.  I would recommend a visit.  The school and the student body have done great things.  It will take you back and want to get involved.
